SF|MOMA

Man Ray Space Writing 1937

SFMOMA has great web designers. Their online multimedia exhibition of their collection is so elaborate, so you have to check it out :: Artscope . You can see the museum's entire collection in one window and scroll through it with a magnifying glass. It really shows the scope of what they have to offer... really cool pieces of Surrealism and just great photography. 

Blumenfeld + Sundsbo

Art + Commerce put out a short montage of Blumenfeld and Sundsbo. It offers a thoughtful comparison and shows many images that should inspire any photographer or artist to play and innovate more with light and texture. I noticed (in this purposefully tight edit done by A+C) that Sundsbo presents a "modern answer" to Blumenfeld's style, but his images sometimes seem flat, less interesting, and not even as relevant as the originals.
